I forgot we did go to the Zoo and Heather took some pictures for us. We went last Wednesday it wasn't too bad but as the day went on it got pretty cold. It was cool to go in the winter even though a lot of animals are not there they seemed to be a lot more active. The Tiger was actually up walking around and the gorilla was swinging on his ropes. Even got to see him eat his banana peel and all. Thanks Heather for telling us about it, it was a lot of fun.
all the kids got to ride the carousel but McKell because it makes me sick to go in circles poor girl just watched them all go around.

How fun! We went to the zoo in September and we noticed how much more active the animals were too. The cool weather really does change their personalities.
I just got home from going to the zoo, and it was so much fun! I felt kind of bad for a couple of the animals that had to be inside (like the giraffes), but the tigers were especially fun to watch since the weather was cool. I think I stood and watched them for almost a half hour.
That's so true...the animals were much livelier since they weren't sweating to death!!
It's a good think McKell is too young to be "jealous" but you know we could have taken her on with us!
That was way fun riding with Vanessa!
Next time McKell can ride the lion with Carter!
