Waterfall canyon

Taylee couldn't smile for a second she NEEDED a drink

What an amazing family I have
I take plenty of selfies just so we know I was on the hike with Zander

 We made it!
Saturday I talked Jeremy into going on a hike to Waterfall Canyon.  He kept telling me that it was a hard hike he took the priests last year and it was tough.  But what I can remember it wasn't "that" bad, so he humored me and agreed to take the kids.  Let me just brag here for a minute.  McKell and Taylee are AMAZING!  The way up is all up hill through rocks and water, so there wasn't much of a break.  But they hiked the whole way without a complaint.  It says its a 3 mile hike and takes 2 hours.  We did it in just that with a 5 year old and 3 year old.  These girls are tough!  They thought the waterfall was the coolest thing and wanted to get all wet, until we told them they had to hike back down.  The way down wasn't much easier because of all the rocks until we got the beaten trail .  But they rocked it until the last 5 minutes then Taylee fell apart, her legs hurt, her back hurt, she was hungry and on and on.  :)  I would say our first hike in the Mountains was a success.

Soccer

McKell is finally playing Soccer, I was so excited to take her that first day.  Until it was freezing cold and windy.  They start the season about a month too early.  Her last game is May 1st and it is barely getting warm.  She is for sure not the best, and would rather be playing in the mud on the field or twirling her hair, but it has been fun and I think she enjoys it.  Especially the treat at the end!

Haircut

We gave Zander his very first haircut.  His hair was hanging over the ears and looking crazy (look at previous post) so I figured heck he is a boy we can easily take care of this mess.  So a Buzz we did.  He looked so much older.

9 months

Funny enough we were at the Tree House museum when Zander turned 9 months as well, so we made good use of their chalk boards again.  He was not a happy boy this day, too tired to be there.

Valentines

Making cookies to deliver to neighbors
Kids dressed in their Valentines attire

We did our usual Candle Light dinner with the kids, they love it and talk about it for weeks.  It has been a fun tradition.  We made cinnamon rolls for Dad, and Jeremy made BTS cake that night as well.  I was on sugar overload!  What are holidays for right :)

Ice Skating

Can't get over how cute these little tiny ice skates were
 Little Panda buddies

Back when it was winter and cold, we took the girls ice skating at Farmington Station.  It was pretty fun.  The rink is TINY, but good enough for us.  McKell loves to ice skate and isn't afraid to get out there and try even if she falls down 101 times.  Taylee was pretty timid, which is so weird to me.  Give her anything on wheels and you can't catch her.  But put her on the ice and she holds on for dear life.  It was a great night!

kids

I love to go downstairs after a Horrible day with the kids, to see how well Taylee takes care of her babies.  She tucked them all into the blanket before she went to bed.
