Macey's Egg Hunt

We had cousin Madilyn staying with us for the week!  Girls had so much fun, but Taylee struggled a LOT.  I guess Madi took her place of being McKells best friend and she did not like it.  Rough week to say the least.  We were able to go to the Macey's Easter Egg hunt though, and get our picture with the bunny.  Taylee was a bit scared of him, but was fine sitting by McKell.  What some cute girls!

Whats new!

These two girls decided yesterday that they could ride their bikes!  Taylee can finally pedal her trike and McKell can ride with no training wheels!  They have both never been so proud of themselves so we celebrated the night at Cherry Berry for some frozen Yogurt.  Way to go girls!

Easter

 We started our Easter weekend at the Annual Easter Bake and sadly I didn't take a single picture.  Then off to the city Easter Egg hunt, kids loved it!

 Easter Bunny brought the girls new sun glasses!  My little divas

 We had so much fun coloring Easter Eggs, I might have to cook more next year just for the fun of it since we don't eat any of them haha.

Easter is so much fun its often times easy to forget why we celebrate this special Holiday.  We did a Family Home Evening last Monday on the resurrection and why we celebrate.  I am always amazed at how much McKell knows.  I really am thankful for her primary teachers, she remembers a lot of what they teach her.  I feel so blessed that I get to raise these 2 special little girls, often times on bad days I forget the good.  But I truly love these girls, they are my perfect little sidekicks :)

Discovery Gateway

 I love this museum!  The kids are entertained for hours and I can finally just sit and watch and visit with friends.  So my sisters preschool was going here again, so of course I tagged along for the discounted rate :)

 And it wouldn't be Taylee if she didn't have to hold the babies.  Yes I am scared to death for a baby to live at our house haha

Good times!  Too bad kids get tired and hungry I could have stayed much longer, it was a much needed break from chasing Taylee everywhere I go.

Hogle Zoo

 For a Preschool field trip we took advantage of the free day at the Hogle Zoo at the end of February.  McKell and Taylee loved it even more this time.  Probably because Taylee actually got to walk after being cooped up inside most the winter.  They loved the animals, especially the monkeys.  They were super active this time.  As usual the winter is always the best time to go to the zoo. And lucky for us it wasn't freezing cold.

I was actually a nice Mom this time and let them ride the carousel haha
