Stats

I just need to get these on here for me.  Taylee stats at 2 years

Weight 27.7 lbs.63%
Height 36" 95%

So if Taylee doubles in height when she is an adult she will be 6 Feet TALL.  Lucky :)

November 29th we took Taylee's binky away, because the night before she woke up 3 times for me to give it to her.  Now that is worse than my newborns have been haha.  So the next day it was gone.  She only had 1 really bad night and screamed bloody murder for an hour but other than that she has been great.  She has quite asking for it every night so we are good.  And the good thing that happened with that is as soon as we took the binky she started staying dry at night.  So she is COMPLETELY POTTY TRAINED now WAHOO!!!  It feels great to not have to even touch a diaper. :)

McKell thought she was such a good beautician that she tested her skills on Taylee :)  Oh my!!!!  I walked in the room and saw the hair, I thought she had cut her wig she has then I looked at Taylee.  I couldn't stop laughing to even get mad at McKell.  It was hilarious.  I just hope McKell is done cutting hair for a few more years.

So off to the salon we went.  Alexis did an amazing job with what she had to work with.  It is starting to grow on me and she looks pretty cute but...... I think we will grow it out a little longer hahhaha  The good thing is I don't even have to hold her down to put a pony tail in it anymore.  Funny kids!

Finally snow :)

First snow of the season and these kids were pretty darn excited to get out there and play.  Somehow McKell grew A LOT in the last year and her hat was too small, her gloves are too small, and her boots are too small.  But we made do and we built the first snow man of the year!!!!  We were watching cousin Nathan and Allison, they had a grand old time jumping on the tramp with all the snow, throwing snow balls, and the little girls really liked to eat it

Happy Birthday Kristy!!!

Happy Birthday to one of the best sisters in the WORLD!!!  She invited us all to celebrate with her at Wendy Sukiyaki (sp?)  It was a fun atmosphere, you take your shoes off and sit on the floor kinda :)  It was delicious, and a fun night all together.  My sister in law made that super cute scarf she has on.  She is amazing like that :)  Hope your day was great.  We love you Kristy

Taylee is 2 :)

McKells attempt at writing hers and Taylee's names haha

She is such a cheeser

Seriously cannot believe its already been 2 years since this cute little girl came into our lives.  Wow what a hard/emotional/fun/crazy 2 years it has been.  She started out as such an easy baby, and has turned into a crazy girl that cannot sit still.  She is made of fire and knows what she wants.  She is very independent, and can do everything herself (if only she was bigger and could talk).  She is fully potty trained except still wearing diapers at night.  Her vocabulary isn't large yet, but sometimes I am almost scared for when she learns to talk, she will never stop.  The words she knows are:
Mom, Dad, Hi, Hello, Please, Thank You, Mine, I want some, ball, Cow, kitty, Kristy, Kell, Grandma, and most animal sounds.  She doesn't know quite as much as McKell did at this point but its coming.  We love you Taylee and are so happy you were sent to us.

J&J Nursery

We discovered this year that a local nursery does hay rides out to the pumpkin patch, lets each kid pick a pumpkin all for free!!  It was fun watching the girls pick out the perfect pumpkin.  Unfortunately camera died before we got pictures of the pumpkin picking.  We will be back next year, kids loved it.

Hiking!!

Its been a few years since I have done this hike, and this year it finally happened.  Its up McQuires Canyon in Willard and you come out at Willard Peak.  Its a lot of rock climbing, straight up the mountain.

We stop at the mine every year for lunch and to sign our good ole log

 The Gang
Inside the mine, we went all the way to the back, talk about darkness!

Who woulda thunk you would find a kitchen sink along the way.  Now thats packing everything and the kitchen sink.

We finished!  My brothers FIL was awesome enough to come get us so we didn't have to walk all the way down.  Another successful year, no injuries.  So I guess we will go for it again next year.

Hogle Zoo

Me and my sister (have I mentioned I love love love that she is living back in Utah :) I really missed her) took these cute kids to the zoo last week.  A lot was under construction which stinks but I can't wait to see what its like in 2014.  The kids loved all the animals.  The new sea lions and seals were a favorite they were so active, the tiger was really active too.  It was a fun day, thanks Kristy for coming along.

Poor Kitty Cat

                                                                         Twinners
If you can't tell she loves my Moms cat!  I actually felt bad for the creature that I had to let it go and she had to go inside for a bit.  I am surprised it never scratched her.

Cultural Celebration

Saturday night my sister gave me and my Mom her tickets to the celebration.  She even scored us some amazing seats.  It was so cool to watch the youth did an amazing job.  Elder L. Tom Perry was there and I got to see him up close and personal.  Love that man.  Thank you so much Vanessa for the seats and Kristy for giving up your ticket :)

California!!

We enjoyed a wonderful weekend in California, with Jeremy's family.  We left bright and early at 3 a.m. it was great cause the girls slept for the first 4 hours of the trip thank heavens.  Monday we went to Sea World (sd card bit the bullet and all our pictures were ruined :())  Tuesday was a good day at the beach.  I love the beach!  Something about all the sand, the huge waves and the sun beating down on ya. BLISS!!  Wednesday we were lucky enough for Nana and Papa to watch all the kids and the siblings and spouses did a session in the San Diego Temple!  Holy cow that temple is beautiful!!!!  Thursday we were back at Sea World and got smart and had McKell wear her running shoes so she was 42" and could ride all the rides.  She is a thrill seeker!  Friday was another swimming/beach day.  Said goodbye to the Andersons and Shy's.  Saturday another day at the beach and lunch at Rubys diner Delish

Last day we got a new card so we actually got some pictures.  Me and McKell went looking for some souvenirs, and crazy enough they didn't really have any tourist shops in Oceanside CA!  We had a great time though and the ride home was awful hee hee  Thanks again Nana and Papa for sharing your week with us.
