Happy Birthday McKell

McKell celebrate her 1 year Birthday on Sunday with her big party on Saturday with her cousin who is 3 days younger. I had a lot of fun, McKell I am sure had fun too but was little overwhelmed with all the people watching her open gifts and eat cake.
This is her Birthday dress from Aunt Katie and Uncle Lance its 24 months she is one solid girl

Opening her present from Grandma and Grandpa Barker on her actual Birthday
I am all girl my favorite thing was all the clothes I got, probably because thats all I got at my party.

This has been one exciting year for us, it has been so fun watching her grow and learn something new everyday (Grandpa Baxter tells her that everyday). Here are the things she has accomplished in the 365 days of life.

Rolling
Crawling
Eating Solids
Holding a bottle
Drinking out of a sippy cup
Going up and down the stairs
Walking with her walker
standing up to things
Making her Mom and Dad smile
Turning the pages in her books
and I am sure many more things but you get the point she has yet
To learn how to walk
or get any teeth, I am just hoping those teeth come in quickly so she can eat a better variety of foods.

Thanks to everyone who came to the wonderful party Sabrina put together and the gifts you gave her. We are so blessed to have such a sweet spirit in our home. I have always loved kids, but I never knew your own could be so much work and have so many sleepless nights.
We love you McKell and look forward to many many more Birthdays.

Snowy Day

Touching it
All warm and bundled up
Eating it

Today was McKell's first time touching the beautiful snow. I am so excited for sleigh riding and hopefully going skiing at least once this year.
I gave her a ball and the first thing she did was eat it. I remember loving to eat snow, actually I still do I just don't because now I know how dirty it really is.

Fat Lip

Eating a Popsicle hoping to make it feel a little better
McKell got her 1st fat lip today, she was crawling on the tile with some pants and her hand slipped out from under her and her face hit the floor. Poor girl! Grandpa gave her some chocolate and that didn't even stop the crying. The Popsicle seemed to do the trick and a little pain relief she finally quite crying. Can't see it too good in the pictures but its a doosy good thing she has no teeth that may have hurt even worse.

What we have all been waiting for....

This is my Awesome Dads Halloween costume, groovin 60's or perhaps 70's I don't really know. But this is actually his clothes from High School can you believe it 30 years out of high school and can still wear them. The shirt he has on is his first shirt he ever bought on his own.

Cousins

Jefferson was a lot of fun to take pictures of he really gets into the character he dresses up as
And here they all are no luck getting a picture that they were all looking and sitting still.

Halloween

Since all our Halloween pictures are on everyone elses cameras and I have not gotten them yet this is all we got.
We had a great Halloween, it started off with my sisters and kids and Mom going to the Little Bear Bottoms corn maze over in Logan. MaKayla was our guide and did an awesome job she got us out first in record timing. They had this awesome stack of Straw bales that had tunnels and you could just play on that the kids loved (and the big kids too) . Then we headed to the Willard Trunk r Treat. McKell had no idea what we were doing but loved playing with the candy in her bucket. Me and Jeremy got lots of good candy! Then to end the night Jeremy projected Young Frankenstein up on the Furniture store wall and we had a drive in movie. It was awesome
