We have been loving this weather holy cow can it just stay upper 60s for another month! We have been able to get out and do lots of fun stuff. There was a pumpkin fest we went to, they had the bounce slide, lunch and Free pumpkins. Kids had a blast
Then the Maceys trick or treating is always fun. Kids are getting plenty of chances to wear their Halloween Costumes!
McKell did the donut eating contest and just about beat all the older kids. This girl loves donuts!

FHE
For family home evening the girls wanted to paint pumpkins, but I only had pink and black luckily they were okay with that. Jeremy actually carved his pumpkin all on his own I didn't even have to beg him just for a picture. McKell and Taylee thought it was pretty cool. They are loving this time of year, all the scary decorations, the pumpkins, their costumes especially now only 1 more week and they can start planning for next year. :) Zander is just eyeing those toes

Black Island Farms
McKells preschool class
Still loving the thumb and loves to just come along for the rideFor another field trip we went to Black Island Farms in Syracuse. It was a bit chilly but the kids still had fun. The slides were all wet so they were a bit disappointed.

J J nursery
We did the wagon ride again this year out to get our pumpkins. It was a lot of fun and Nana even joined in on the fun this year. These girls couldn't pick a pumpkin luckily they had lots of time because Taylee looked over the whole field for the perfect pumpkin.

Dam donut ride
Conference weekend our little town of Brigham City held a donut bike ride up around the dam in Mantua. It was FREEZING to say the least. But we rode around 3 times and for every donut you ate it took 3 minutes off your time. Believe it or not it was really really hard to eat a donut after riding that fast and freezing cold. But I was able to get 2 down and Jeremy got down 3!
The gang, me my sisters and our husbands
Then they had a kids race that I thought would be fun for McKell to ride in. She wasn't too excited to have to ride 4 miles until I told her she gets to eat a donut then she was stoked!. Jeremy rode around with her and said she did awesome!
As she was coming to the finish line everyone was yelling her name, she was so excited. It only took her 50 minutes to ride around. Way to go McKell!
She took 2nd in her age division which was 8 and under. She was the youngest rider though
McKell and Jeremy, he took 1st place! Crazy thing is the guy that actually came in first didn't eat any donuts and Jeremy ate 3 so Jeremy took first! It was a fun ride, we will be back next year.

What a nut
Taylee had packed this lunch box Sunday morning but wouldn't let anyone look in it. I finally got the chapstik out of her and thought that's all there was. Well we got to Sacrament Meeting and all settled into our bench started singing the opening song and she hands Jeremy a fork. He thinks okay whats this for then she opens her lunch box and she had packed some pancakes and 4 forks for us all to eat. It was Hilarious! Very thoughtful girl to bring us all a fork to eat.

Firestation
McKell had her first field trip (she calls them Restaurants for some odd reason) to the Clinton City Fire station. They enjoyed it and got an awesome Hat and Pencil.

Kids Run
All the racers
Dallin was 2nd
Taylee was just happy to be running
The Huntsville Marathon has seriously got to be the best organized race ever! They were amazing with all that. Never had to wait in line at the porta potties even at the starting line. Anyways after we got done they had a kids race. Which was just around the park, but they all ran together until the last stretch to the finish line then they got to sprint. They were legit with shirts for them and a number. McKell and Taylee thought it was the coolest thing ever. Then at the finish they got a creamie and sunny d. Best race they have ever done.

Huntsville Half Marathon
So I am sure many of people have ran a half just 4 months after giving birth to a child but I personally would not recommend it. I felt great for the first oh lets say 9.5 miles then just like a wall it hit me right in the face. My Back hurt since I don't have much muscle back my abs hurt also for the same reason. My legs were killing and my feet well that would probably have to do with wearing old shoes. But they hurt the entire time due to a blood blister forming behind my toe nails.
So me, Kristy, and Vanessa started the race out all together. I had them pumped that we were running a 1:45 they thought I was crazy but they started with me. I was feeling great, the air was cool and overall just a beautiful morning to run a race. I guess I got ahead of myself as usual about mile 3 and left the other 2 and caught the pacer guy. We ran together until mile 9 when I had to use the bathroom. That is when my sisters caught up with me and I was excited to finish the race with them. HA Kristy was still going strong like didn't even act like she had ran 9 miles. I said see ya later after about a half mile with them and the rest was awful. I stopped at every water stop and walked through it. Sadly to say they finished in under my targeted time of 1:45 and I came shuffling in 5 minutes later. MISERABLE. Glad to say its over and I only have 1 more course I want to try then I can be done with halfs :) I am ready to try to Triathalon world out.
