Broken

A couple weeks ago our neighbor girls were over playing with McKell, as usual she was coming their long hair. I heard her in the bathroom up on the counter assuming she was getting another comb for their hair. When all the sudden I hear boom and she screams bloody murder. She cried for a LONG time. Didn't look broken she could move her wrist so I kinda firgured it was just a hard fall. For some reason I kept thinking it was broken but there really were no signs that it would be broken. Besides if you grabbed her arm she would instantly start crying, and just held it against her body for 2 days. So I called my handy dandy brother. Who happens to be a Doctor for all you Brigham People :) he said to bring her in and we would get an x-ray. I decided to wait a couple days to see if she acted any different. By Friday it looked a tiny bit swollen so I took her in. Mothers instint was right. Just a small break but enough for a fancy cast.

She was confused by the whole thing

Done!!! 4 weeks and it will be healed

Just a cute picture of the cute girl!
McKell don't know how lucky she is haha lots of friends and cousins want to break their arms now. She is loving the attention until she can't get it wet and she can't play in the sand, and she has a hard time feeding herself. Other than that she is doing great, only 2 more weeks of it and she will be cast free.

We waited 5 days with Jack. He barely cried and was only slightly favoring his. I thought that he would hate the cast, and he needed his on for 6 weeks, but he didn't seem to mind! Kids are so tough! Luckily, Jack's was waterproof or we might not have made it!!! She is such a cutie!
