Broken

A couple weeks ago our neighbor girls were over playing with McKell, as usual she was coming their long hair. I heard her in the bathroom up on the counter assuming she was getting another comb for their hair. When all the sudden I hear boom and she screams bloody murder. She cried for a LONG time. Didn't look broken she could move her wrist so I kinda firgured it was just a hard fall. For some reason I kept thinking it was broken but there really were no signs that it would be broken. Besides if you grabbed her arm she would instantly start crying, and just held it against her body for 2 days. So I called my handy dandy brother. Who happens to be a Doctor for all you Brigham People :) he said to bring her in and we would get an x-ray. I decided to wait a couple days to see if she acted any different. By Friday it looked a tiny bit swollen so I took her in. Mothers instint was right. Just a small break but enough for a fancy cast.

She was confused by the whole thing

Done!!! 4 weeks and it will be healed

Just a cute picture of the cute girl!
McKell don't know how lucky she is haha lots of friends and cousins want to break their arms now. She is loving the attention until she can't get it wet and she can't play in the sand, and she has a hard time feeding herself. Other than that she is doing great, only 2 more weeks of it and she will be cast free.

New York overload!!!

Cant believe this fabulous girls trip was already a month ago!! Time is flying by, since we took 550 pictures I tried to just pick a few to not bore you.

The day we left we treated ourselves to a Central Park waffle. Delish

Some serious St. Pattys pants haha we tried to see the parade that was a Joke! I put Becky up on my shoulders to see if it was even worth getting through the millions of people to get up to the street and it was a no we were about 1/4 deep of people before we got to the street it was on. So we turned around and headed out of town. CRAZY!

We found these awesome shirts for 5 bucks so we all had to get a matching shirt!!

On the last night we were there Kristy was drawn in the lottery, for 2 tickets. So Becky got to go. :)

Beautiful New York Temple, is also Kristy's church building. We were not able to fit in a session sadly enough

Top of the empire state building, what an awesome view.

We had a black and white cookie just about every day. So so so good I wish I had one right now.

Freezing our buns off waiting to set sell to see Lady Liberty.

On our first day in New York we went to try our chances at the Wicked Lottery, all you do is show up at 5:30 put your name on a paper and at 6 they draw out I think 10 names and you get 2 tickets for front row seats for only $25 dollars each. Good Deal I guess haha well crazy enough my name was drawn out 3rd!!! Mom was super excited, I could care less didn't even want to see the show. Now why can't I be lucky when I want to win. So her and Vanessa went to the show that night and loved it!

Our amazing tour guides! Kristy and Bryson thank you so much for your house, food, and good times.

Times Square in the day

We took a whole day for just shopping! It was so much fun.

Eating burgers at the shake shak a must if you ever go to New York City.

We were crazy enough to get up and freeze to try to get on T.V. who knows why. Then we tried to go to the Rachel Ray show and they were not taping that day. Darn thats the one show I really wanted to attend.

Me and my amazing Mom, look how excited she is to get to see Wicked!!!

We went out to see the Statue of Liberty, sadly though they were doing construction so we could not go inside.

After our red eye flight to the city, Kristy got us tickets to Live with Kelly so we had to get a Taxi to get there in time. And if anyone watched it that morning we did actually get our second of fame haha only because we made friends with the camera guy.

Eating ice cream on a double decker bus.

Sadly we were only able to fit in 1 run in Central Park, it was a good one though. We walked so much my legs hurt every night. It was a good trip, I love spending time with my Mom and Sisters. Lots of girl time, laughing, and late nights. Thanks again Kristy and Bryson

Divine Roles

http://broadcast.lds.org/churchmusic/Seminary/CES_OT_06_ToBringThemtoThee.mp3

I gave a lesson in Young Women's today on our Attitude of our Divine Roles. As I was searching for lesson ideas I came across this song. I love it! It has hit me hard and has really made me realize what a blessing it is to be a Mom, to raise these special spirits. To help me look past the things that drive me crazy each day. To just love my kids and let them know how much they are loved. To help me not to be selfish of my time, they are my "job" they are the only thing I need to worry about each day (to a certain extent) I love the gospel and the comfort it gives to me, to know that I have an eternal family what a blessing. I hope you enjoy this song as much as I have.

Wolf Mountain

We used our Awesome pass of all Passes today and hit the slopes! McKell loved the lift, thats all she wanted to do. She also enjoyed going down the hill super fast between my legs. Don't think she learned anything today but it was fun for her to experience. It was a perfect day too, the sun was shining and it was warm. Her and Maddi wanted to hold hands going down the hill and she was disappointed that, that wouldn't work. :)

New York

We cut our trip short so we could spend more time in New York. So we got to spend the night with Kristy and Bryson thanks so much! The next day we got a quick tour of New York. We saw Time Square at night when we got there, the 911 memorial super cool, Statue of Liberty from a distance, Central Station, Stock something :) ate a yummy burger from the shake shack, and got in a nice morning run at Central Park. It was fun to see my sis again even though it was only a few weeks. I miss her like crazy, so 3 weeks seems like eternity. Thank You Kristy and Bryson for being our tour guides and giving a place to lay our heads and all the good food. And in 1 month me and my Mom and Sisters are going back to New York for the real Tour of the city. BOOYA!

Cruise baby!

Can't believe this was already a month ago. I wish we were just going haha isn't that how vacations are. We were able to head out for a cruise for our 5 year anniversary a couple months early (when the price is right you gotta do it). It was a 4 night cruise to the Bahamas! So much fun, it was just the two of us. We were disappointed with the cruise line, the food was not all that good, the entertainment was alright, and there were no ice sculptures haha.

Our first stop was Freeport, from what I heard they had a hurricane go through there a few years ago and it kinda ran the town down. We just caught a taxi and found a beach to finally get some sun. Don't judge me in a bikini and I can't believe I actually just put that on the world wide web, but its the only picture together on the ocean that someone else took for us. There was a nice part of the beach but that was private for the hotel. I LOVE THE OCEAN!!!

Second Stop was Nassau, my favorite place of all I wish we could have stayed there for the 3 days. We went to the water park Atlantis all day long. It was so cool, and there private beach was amazing! Water was warm, waves were big absolutely perfect. And yes I chickened out on this slide, look at that thing. Almost verticle! So we got to the front of the line and I went and looked down the slide and couldn't do it. So I told Jeremy to go first and I walked back down the stairs. haha But there were a few slides where you went through the aquariums, so we saw lots of fish and sharks. Neat. I hope to go back there again soon.Day 3 was Norweigans private Island, not sure why you want your own island it was kinda boring. And by this day Jeremy thought he didn't need sunscreen and fried himself so he didn't want to play in the water anymore. The cool thing about this place was that there were no waves so we used our goggles and saw lots of fish. I got the picture of the tractor cause thats what my Dad uses and they were driving them all the way in the Bahamas!

We couldn't have done it without amazing family, so we would like to give a shout out to Katie, Vanessa, and Mom Jensen. They were our babysitters and we are so grateful for them. Its always nice to have a vacation and know your kids are in good hands. So thanks again ladies.
